This past weekend proved to be a memorable one as Martin Luther King, Jr and the Presidential Inauguration were celebrated by millions of people across the country. In D.C. alone, about 1 million Americans made the journey to the National Mall in hopes of catching a glimpse of President Obama and to witness the magnificence of the MLK Memorial. We hope that the students of the Hilltop, especially those in their first-year, witnessed this American tradition in the heart of the nation's Capital. With only four years at Georgetown, inauguration (coinciding with MLK Day!) was a once in a lifetime experience. If you participated in any of the festivities, be sure to post a comment and/or a picture. We would love to hear from you!
