Challenge Completed!

Congratulations to all Carroll Fellow sophomores on the recent completion of their Forum Independent Research Projects (FIRPs)!  At the beginning of the freshmen spring semester, all Carroll Fellows must design a FIRP:  an independent project which uses archival materials to explore an as-yet unanswered research question.  The students spend nine months gathering background material, analyzing primary source documents, and reporting on their findings in the form of an academic narrative.  A completed FIRP represents an incredible accomplishment of which all Carroll Fellows should be proud.  Great work, Class of 2016!

Carroll Fellows Zach Kay and Reno Varghese celebrate the completion of their FIRPS.

Even at 3:30 AM, they are sporting smiling faces!
